EVAC Chair Training
Designed to enable the employer to deal with the evacuation of non ambulant persons from their building in the event of an emergency. It is no longer deemed 'reasonable' to leave anyone in a refuge area on an upper floor, whilst the building burns around them.The Evac Chair Training course is tailor made to the specific risk, delivered by expert staff with over 30 years Fire Service experience.
The Employer is responsible for ensuring all staff and visitors can leave the premises.
The Evac Chair Training course covers subjects which include: -
- Recent changes to the Law in relation to Evacuation responsibilities.
- Who might need to use the Evac Chair.
- How does the the Evac Chair fit into the building Evacuation procedures?
- Description of the Evac Chair.
- Practical Exercise.
