Fire Training Wales by offering a Fire Safety Consultancy Service, including Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Awareness Training, Fire Warden Training, Incident Controller Training and Fire Extinguisher Training can enable you, the employer, to meet the requirements of the New Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, which came into effect on 1st October 2006 and applies to all workplace premises.
It requires that "All employees must be given adequate Fire Safety Training (during normal working hours) when they commence employment and receive refresher training as appropriate or when circumstances change which affect Fire Safety.
Landlord Imprisoned - The first custodial sentence has been handed out under the New Fire Safety Order to a London landlord following eight breaches of Fire Safety. This prosecution followed a fatal flat fire.
The training can be carried out on-site or at our own Fire Training facilities using modern training aids to enhance instruction, these include digital projectors, laptop computers, video and DVD equipment. The practical use of Fire Extinguishers on real fires is also included.
